TECHNICAL SUPPORT GROUP is currently recruiting for a BUYER (Senior) to work in an EPC/M environment.
Job Description:
- Negotiating Progress Payments and General Terms and Conditions
- Developing and maintaining Request for Quotations (RFQ’s), distributing bids, awarding PO’s and subsequent PO amendments
- Maintaining commercial control of the PO until the goods are successfully delivered and all contractual responsibilities have been discharged
- Responsible for purchasing activities for all LLE and tagged items
- Maintaining the Convero database
- Updating and maintaining procurement plans
- Understanding the interfaces between all disciplines who they purchase for to ensure processes and procedures are followed
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years related experience with preferred experience in an EPC or industrial construction environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organization and communication skills
