TECHNICAL SUPPORT GROUP is currently recruiting for a PROCESS ENGINEER for an opportunity to work in an EPC/M environment on industrial Engineering projects.
Job Description:
- Preforming work in the Process discipline involving preparation, interpretation or review of calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, systems or equipment
- Preparation or review of engineering studies and reports
- Process design, including simulations, concept sketches and layouts
- Preparation of process specifications and design calculations
- Equipment design and development
- Testing of processes and materials
- The use of engineering computer programs and solutions – HYSYS and ASPEN
- Reviews of design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors and prepares comments and recommendations
- Reviewing and checking of designs, drawings and data
- Monitors project controls within discipline
Job Requirements:
- A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
- Ability to register as a professional engineer or geoscientist in the Province of Alberta
- SAGD experience
- 3-5 years of developmental experience in design engineering, systems start-ups, field engineering, plant operations in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants, or engineering / construction firms
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- General level of computer literacy with working knowledge of software’s
- Strong interpersonal and ability to work with and supervise multidiscipline team
