TECHNICAL SUPPORT GROUP is currently recruiting for a SENIOR PIPING DESIGNER for an Edmonton based opportunity to work in an EPC/M environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide piping design expertise involving planning and layouts for piping and mechanical installation.
  • Conduct field visits and prepare as-built drawings.
  • Produce complicated drawings and charts in a specialized field involving planning, layout and bill of materials for major installations.
  • Design and detailing new components from previous designs and developing layouts requiring theoretical and practical designs in a specialized field area.
  • Provide mentoring to junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a recognized Engineering Drafting and Design Program or a technical school in a related field.
  • Education will be complemented with 5-10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in Auto Cad, PDS, SmartPlant, PDMS and Micro Station is preferred.
