TECHNICAL SUPPORT GROUP is currently recruiting for a Senior COST CONTROLLER for an Alberta based opportunity
Job Description:
- Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports, etc.
- Assisting in setting up a control system and documentation for the project
- Reporting on deviations, underruns and overruns
- Preparing forecasts, completing cost trend reports and monitoring cost and budget forecasts
- Working with project estimator, planner and scheduler and Client’s accounting staff
- Working closely with client’s project manager and team leads
- Assisting in identifying cost risks, and perform risk analysis
- Coordinating and assembling the monthly progress reports
Job Requirements:
- Technical college diploma and/or engineering degree
- 10+ years experience working in a consulting engineering environment for Oil &Gas /Process & Controls projects
- Minimum of eight years of engineering experience
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and experience working with project management systems
- Highly effective organizational and planning skills, detailed and goal-oriented
- Leadership and interpersonal skills for managing / assigning work and tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
