TECHNICAL SUPPORT GROUP is currently recruiting for a STRUCTURAL DESIGNER for an Alberta based opportunity to work in an Engineering Consulting environment.

Job Description: 

  • Providing a variety of Engineering Design activities supporting oil sands projects
  • Assisting the engineers in the practical and economic designing of industrial operating structures
  • Checking the drafting content and drawings prepared by others in the Structural Design team
  • Finalizing the details and structural designs from engineering sketches

Job Requirements:

  • Technical Diploma
  • 5 – 10+ years of experience in Structural design, with a focus on heavy industry
  • Experience working with PDS and Frameworks
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from the Lead.
