TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting a HVAC REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN (JOURNEYMAN) for an opportunity in the Edmonton area in a manufacturing environment.
Job Description
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems
- Maintaining and repairing electrical components of HVAC equipment
- Removing and installing air quality systems
- Troubleshooting HVAC issues, scheduling maintenance or repair activities, and ensuring HVAC systems are working properly
- Inspecting plumbing systems to ensure efficient operation while adhering to environmentally friendly guidelines
- Testing for leaks using various testing tools
- Reading and interpreting technical plans to select suitable equipment
- Meeting compliance requirement documentation
- Reviewing historical repair records to create an effective inspection schedule
- Communicating with clients
- Training junior teammates
Job Requirements
- Journeyperson Certificate
- Red Seal Endorsement (optional)
- Ability to interpret technical data such as temperature and pressure
- Ability to operate and repair various HVAC equipment
- Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills to respond to clients' complaints, questions and needs
