TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a PROCUREMENT CONTRACT SPECIALIST for a contract opportunity in the greater Saskatoon area.
Job Description:
- Reviewing and understanding critical contract components, such as liability, indemnity, and intellectual property provisions.
- Utilizing Oracle and Ariba systems to manage procurement activities effectively.
- Leading source-to-contract processes, including change orders and purchase order adjustments.
- Developing procurement exhibits, ensuring the scope of work is well-defined and comprehensive.
- Supporting the transition of finalized contracts to the Contract Manager for ongoing administration.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and contract requirements.
- Maintaining a high level of accountability and independence, with approval and guidance provided as needed.
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, contracting, or supply chain support, preferably in the industrial setting.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement contract management, including experience with contract terms and conditions, redlines, scope, and risk considerations.
- Familiarity with Oracle and Ariba systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when reviewing and preparing documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with guidance and review as needed.
