Warehouse Technician

TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for WAREHOUSE TECHNICIANS to work in a remote location (camp provided) for a fly-in/fly-out opportunity. Must be available to work approximately 3 rotations, 12-hour day/night, 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off.

Job Description:

  • Safely operate forklifts and skid steers to load, unload, transport, and organize materials within warehouse and laydown yard areas.
  • Receive, inspect, issue, and store materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure correct parts, materials, and equipment are supplied to onsite clients and operations personnel.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operations of all warehouse and storage areas.
  • Warehouse operations include shipping, receiving, issuing, storage, returns, physical inventory counts, and material tracking.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and inventory records using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintain organized warehouse, yard, and storage areas in accordance with site safety standards.
  • Support inventory control activities and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of warehouse experience in an Oil & Gas, Mining, or Industrial Warehouse environment.
  • Must have a current valid Forklift certificate.
  • Must have a current valid Skid Steer certificate.
  • Forklift and Skid Steer certifications are mandatory requirements and candidates without both valid certifications will not be considered.
  • High School diploma, post-secondary education preferred.
  • Competent computer skills such as data entry using excel spreadsheets (Microsoft Office).
  • Good understanding of warehousing concepts, inventory control, shipping, receiving, storage, and material handling practices.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a remote industrial environment.
  • Ability to manage tasks and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Must be able to work outside for periods of time, in extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks that may involve bending, lifting and standing for extended periods each day.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team skills.
