Materials Data Administrator

TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a MATERIALS DATA ADMINISTRATOR for an Edmonton area-based opportunity to work in an office environment.

Job Description:

• Reviewing and validating Material Master requests for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and ensuring correct naming, structure, and data standards are followed
• Validating manufacturer and part number details using system data and external sources
• Preparing templates for material creation and updates in SAP S/4HANA
• Performing data cleanup and standardization
• Ensure consistency and reliability of data for procurement and inventory processes, such as identifying and resolving duplicates and inconsistencies
• Working with end users to resolve data issues and improve request quality
• Providing clear feedback and enforcing data requirements
• Supporting consistent application of data standards across the organization

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in industrial or heavy equipment environments is an asset
• Strong Excel skills, experience using pivot tables is required, and Power Query is an asset
• Ability to process large volumes of repetitive data with consistent quality
• Basic knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM is an advantage
• Familiarity with OEM parts (e.g., CAT, Sandvik) is an advantage
• Maintain speed while working with large volumes of data
• Confident in challenging incorrect or incomplete requests
• Exceptional attention to detail, data accuracy and structured in your work
• Strong organizational and validation skills
• Must be willing to complete a short practical task based on real Material Master data scenarios to be assessed on attention to detail, data validation and ability to work with structured data
