Mechanical Planner

At TSG STAFFING SERVICES we are always recruiting in anticipation of our client’s future needs. As such, we are continuing to search for MECHANICAL PLANNERS for potential upcoming projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leverages trade expertise, site knowledge, technical references, and—when needed—insights from operations, maintenance, and technical teams to create practical, well-structured work plans.
• Proficient in applying all necessary MS Dynamics tools and features to meet organizational planning requirements.
• Develops plans that align with corporate planning standards, incorporating safety considerations, maintenance procedures, resource needs, timelines, materials, tools, and contracted services for successful execution.
• Builds and updates task lists and bills of materials to maintain accuracy, ensure compliance with planning guidelines, and provide reliable records.
• Collaborates with other departments to confirm that planning data remains correct and current.
• Coordinates with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, external vendors, and consultants to support effective and consistent planning activities.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Planning, ideally with a Millwright or boilermaker background
• Must have working knowledge of MS Dynamic software
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications (Outlook, SharePoint, TEAMS, MS Word, Excel, etc.)
• Willingness to work in an office and field environment with a high degree of interaction between management, technical, maintenance, operations and others involved in planning work
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated with willingness to take on increasing responsibility
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
